  • 5 miles at just under 8:00 pace.  Knee pain is still there.  It is tolerant but i want to make sure it is gone completely before getting into my next training regimen.

  • 5 on the treadmill so that i could avoid any up or down hills.  Knee felt ok... still a little annoying.  I know it is just runners knee from all the hills that i do.  I will try to take it easy two more weeks before i start doing any type of speed stuff again... basically a month of rest after the marathon... kind of annoying that i am not building upon my marathon fitness but i would rather heal my knee and stretch my IT band

  • supposed to start my marathon training today for the Marine Corps Marathon; I am thinking that I will take it easy this week and put in around 40-45 miles, before putting in around 60 the next two weeks and then coming down for a week while I am on vacation and then putting in a very solid 12 weeks of training.  I am not really too concerned about this race as I have already qualified for Boston, but I want to make sure I get my weight back down to racing shape and get my fitness at an acceptable level

  • I was supposed to do 8 after work and just did not have the motivation.  instead I walked the dog and hit the sheets a little earlier than usual

  • A tired 6 miles. I should be doing more.
